Mr. Jones “The Last Laugh” Watch

London watchmakers Mr. Jones have just created “The Last Laugh” watch. Designed with the help of comedian William Andrews, the watch displays the time not through the indication of a set of hands, but via the skull’s teeth. Based on the commonly held belief that comedians are all secretly depressed, a concept often depicted by the “tears of a clown”, the watch is also a humorous play on the fleeting nature of life. The timepiece features a stainless steel case and a leather strap that is contrasted by white stitching and is limited to just 100 pieces. Each watch is numbered on the case-back and comes with an insert card that is signed by both William Andrews and Crispin Jones. The watch is now available from colette.

Casio G-SHOCK X-Large Combi Watch

Unveiled earlier this year, Casio has just released these latest colors of their X-Large Combination watch from the G-SHOCK range. As per the remainder of the G-SHOCK series, the timepiece has been designed to endure the most extreme of situations. Not only is the watch water resistant to 200m and of course shock proof, the piece is even resistant to magnetism. Available now in all-black or in white with silver accents, the watch can be picked up from colette for around $160.

Pringle Of Scotland x Ryan McGinley Cashmere Sweaters

Clothing designer Ryan McGinley and Pringle of Scotland present their 2010 Fall knitwear collaboration — a black and white premium cashmere twinset of a cardigan and crewneck sweater. Simply designed and presumably nice fitting. The animal print actually ends up giving it the aura of something incredibly indie, but I don’t think indie kids can afford its $1,224 luxury pricetag.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Memovox International Colette Watch

Colette seems to work with the very best. Their latest collaborative effort with Jaeger-LeCoultre looks to be a massive one with an extreme limited unit count of three! “I do so very much appreciate that very special wristwatches often find their way in to the display cases at Colette. Most recently it seems that Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a special Master Memovox International for the Parisian concept store.  It is part of a project by Thomas Erber and is named Cabinet de curiosité — a random collection of fine oddities.   Special about this watch vs. its “standard” brother is the light blue “Colette” notation on the dial and the matching accented stitching on the strap.”
