Avant garde French label Surface To Air releases it’s 2011 spring/summer lookbook with looks that stay consistent with each season and the incorporation of new styles and prints. Following the dark hue color trend, muted tones are infused into bomber jackets, suits, chinos, henleys and cuffed shorts. Graphic tees continue to be a big focus for the brand with styles that include Elvis Presley being immortalized in red. Denim is slim fitting in light or dark washes with little distressing. Lace-ups in leather and suede combos with tonal soles, chukkas and moccasin style boot shoes round up the shoe offerings.

Versace Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Menswear Collection Review

Versace, the Italian fashion label is one of the world's leading international fashion houses and it is best known in unique clothing lines and luxurious designs. This time in the Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Menswear Collection, Donatella Versace comes out with a rock ’n’ roll yet futuristic line on men’s clothing. 






The Versace fashion label started taking shape in 1978 when designer and founder Gianni Versace opened his first fashion boutique in Milano. Their popularity kept growing so the label did too, until a very unfortunate incident happened and Gianni was killed. After that, his sister, Donatella took over Versace fashion house and she is now the artistic director. She is in charge of every season’s collection and from what we can see she does her job amazingly good and we are sure that her brother is very proud of her.

Today, Versace brand is a very well known name in luxurious clothing for women and men, couture collections, accessories like jewelry or watches, perfumes or makeup and even interior designs.

Donatella has definitely made a huge impression in the past years with her stunning collections in celebrity’s eyes because we often see a Versace look on the red carpet. Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Lady Gaga or Elizabeth Hurley are only a few celebrity fans of her. Also, to promote her advertising campaigns she used as models fashion icons like Madonna, Halle Berry, Milla Jovovich, Demi Moore or Christina Aguilera in the women’s category only. For men’s wear lines she used as models actors like Ashton Kutcher, Ian Somerhadler from TV shows like Lost or The Vampire Diaries and Patrick Dempsey from Grey's Anatomy.

Roberto Cavalli Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Menswear Collection Review

The Italian fashion desinger, Roberto Cavalli is and has been for the past years one of the best known names in the fashion industry. For the Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Menswear Collection he came out with a young and powerful but stylish with crazy prints collection. 

As you all know, Roberto Cavalli is a perfectionist in every design that he creates. He is very careful with every detail on his runway looks and with the whole image in the same time, even if he likes to play sometimes with the extremes. So that’s why the Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Menswear Collection is a mix between amazing details and an overall messy look. He uses nature as inspiration for his collections and usually goes for powerful prints or vibrant materials that speak for themselves.

He started presenting his own collections every year since he was 30 years old, in fashion capitals like Paris or Milano. In Cavalli’s designs we have a large variety of clothing items from women’s wear to men’s wear, from accessories like watches to eyewear and perfumes or from underwear to beachwear.


In the Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Menswear Collection, you can definitely hear the scream of the youth that still hangs in Roberto Cavalli’s soul, even if he’s now 69 years old. He used as inspiration the punk rock attitude from the late ‘70s but in the same time the American prom inspired look or the high school uniform one.
